MILITARY CHIC

Hello lovelies! I hope you all are having a great week especially those of you that are pushing through finals week. At least it's almost over! That could only mean one thing...more posts from me! Today I'm sharing an outfit I wore out for a lunch date with the best boyfriend anyone could have. Shh! Don't tell him I said that. I'm loving the color olive this season so it was only necessary to buy another olive coat for the fall. What really got me about this jacket was the unique hemline. It reminds of a tulip skirt which were very popular last summer. I paired it with a flared leather skirt to play off the way the front of the blazer falls to the sides. This gives the appearance of a small waist and wider hips (which everyone wants, but I obviously don't have, I wish!). The tights and black booties kept the look feeling dressy and chic. How do all feel about olive and khaki taking over the winter wardrobe scene? I love it! Style tip: Pair your black booties with a pair of opaque tights this winter for a quick way to elongate your legs. And trust me, it works!
