Breathe easy ladies, this post is certainly not for the faint hearted. But the deed has already been done. You're thinking, what is this crazy girl talking about? Well, I did it, I finally jumped over the  $1000 hurdle and got them! The beautiful, classic Valentino Rockstuds.

Now it's story time! It took quite some effort to get my hands on these in my size and color preference but it was totally worth it. Ever since I began purchasing designer pieces, I have a weird thing about only buying them from the actual boutiques and not larger retailers such as Barneys New York or Neiman Marcus. With that said, to Valentino I went. Living in Vegas we have plenty of locations so I opted for the one at Crystals Shops @ ARIA. The associates went above and beyond to help me get these heels and even after getting them I still text the manager and associate regularly. Talk about customer service!

The most important factor when it comes to buying designer heels is obviously comfort, that is, once you get past the fact that you will be spending about $1100 on one pair of shoes. I can say that out of all the other heels I've invested a fortune in, these are by far the most comfortable. The pointed toe box seems to be a reason for concern to many, and I can assure you I was just as skeptical about it as well. Most pointed toe heels don't give your feet enough room to breathe let alone any wiggle space at all. I found the Rockstuds to be spacious especially for a heel wearer like me who risks pain for fashion regularly (I've actually heard that's not safe, but "for the love of fashion!"). I love that they still have such a sharp point because it sure doesn't feel too constricted like Louboutin's or Manolo's pointed toes. The ankle straps however have given me problems because even at the last hole, the straps are a bit loose. This may just be due to my naturally skinny ankles, but hey! It's nothing a needle can't fix. Overall, I am so impressed with the comfort level.

I can literally wear these with any style outfit. From jeans and distressed denim, to skirts and dresses, these shoes certainly make a statement and they never look out of place or forced in an outfit. Sure, they aren't the most simple of shoes, but to me, I feel like I can wear them as a neutral!

I hope you all enjoyed this post because I've decided to do a review every week on the blog. I find myself buying at least one new pair of heels per week and I want to share that with you here on the blog! Not only that, but I'll be sharing the latest sales to shop for shoes this season. Come back next week for another new shoe feature!

Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone for sticking with me from the beginning. I'm a bit slow to catch on to the blogging scene, but I feel the love and I can't wait for us to see how this year unfolds, together.
